Bonfire Operating is an oil and gas operator licensed and bonded with the state of Texas. We provide services to oil and gas operators and investment groups to assist with the drilling and production of Oil and Gas.

Bonfire Operating was founded in 2013 by Richie Rockwell, an oil and gas industry veteran for over 20 years. In our infancy, we partnered with knowledgeable area experts to identify, drill and develop shallow oil and gas fields in and around Ozona Texas.

 

As the Bonfire Energy Portfolio of companies has expanded so has our operating focus. We currently operate wells in and around Ozona Texas as well as Wichita Falls Texas. We utilize our expertise in oil and gas research, development and completion to drill, develop, and revitalize vertical oil and gas fields throughout the state.

Aside from operating our own wells we also provide contract services for Railroad Commission filings, well-site supervision, engineering and well design.
